British TV presenter Anna Richardson has joined the Alzheimer’s Society campaign, encouraging 'Sir Keir Starmer and his government to create a better future for people living with dementia'.
Richardson commented 'Is it ok that a third of people with dementia don't get a diagnosis? Is it alright that it can take over three years to get a diagnosis after symptoms start? Is it ok that people can end up spending around £100k for dementia care. I'm working with the Alzheimer’s Society to bring dementia from behind closed doors and make it more of a conversation. Let's make dementia a national conversation, and let's make a difference'.
